In accordance with our methodological approach, we report the development of a new semantic proposition for the crest in the arms of Earle of Allerton Tower: “an arrow in bend sinister its point downwards, held by a lion's paw erased, proper, suspended therefrom with a chain or, an escutcheon gules charged with a scallop of the second.
