In accordance with our methodological approach to heraldic parophony, we report the development of a new semantic proposition for the crest in the coat of arms of Corte-Real: “an arm vambraced argent, garnished and holding a spear in fess or, headed argent, with a forked pennon of the last, charged with a cross gules”.
