In accordance with our methodological approach to heraldic parophony, we report the development of a new semantic proposition for the crest in the coat of arms of Brederode (from Portugal): “two arms erect proper, vested vert, rolled up or, holding in each hand a horse foot sable, hooves upwards, horseshoes or, nailed argent”.
